Mouse switch replacement / wymiana przełącznika myszy

I want to replace switches on 2 cheap mouses (1 Logitech and 1 A4tech).

Do we have some spare switches? I don’t need anything fancy (silent or extra endurance).

If we don’t have some, I can buy some kit so other people can replace a switch easily, because I think it is pretty common problem when mouse switch starts behave incorrectly.

Can you post a picture of the switches in your mouses (mice?)? There’s a bunch of different switch models.

I have some switches removed from scrapped mice, that were damaged in other ways - can bring you some. Please post photos of what type of switch do you need.

I’m afraid that extra heating because of aditional desoldering + soldering can make switches worse about reliability. It is better to use new switches. Thank you!

Logitech M100

A classic USB mouse for an office.

The issue: right key works bad (sometimes not working, sometimes bounces).

I’ve disassembled it.
It looks like both switches (left and right) are “Kailh” 5 x 7 x 13 mm. Distance between contacts is 5 mm.

There are some lots on Allegro, I will probably buy a couple of switches.

A4 tech G9-500F

A Wireless mouse, my wife’s favourite.
Works not well with NiMH rechargeable battery, requires to charge it too often (once per 1-2 weeks).

The issue: left key works bad, mostly not working.

2 switches (left and right) are “Huano” 6 x 6 x 12.5 mm. Distance between contacts is 5 mm. Maybe “Kailh” switch will fit here…

Lenovo MORFFHL

A wireless mouse. Nice that it uses 2 x AA batteries — probably will work fine with NiMH rechargeable batteries.

The issue: right key works bad.

On someones video of disassembling of pretty similar mouse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaT8yJxpTqk I see that switches are different, square.

I decided to not disassemble it right now.

Footprint for all those switches is basically the same, so you can change them according to your preference.

Not really if done proper. There isn’t much thermal mass in mouse PCBs to begin with, and no through-hole plated vias - so removing them is quite easy.
